GitHub Copilot in your enterprise
Enterprises on GitHub Enterprise Cloud can subscribe to either GitHub Copilot Business or GitHub Copilot Enterprise, or a mixture of both across different organizations within an enterprise. Both plans are available on a monthly cycle, and pricing varies. For more information, see À propos de la facturation de GitHub Copilot dans votre entreprise.
GitHub Copilot in your organization
GitHub bills Copilot Business on a monthly cycle, for 19 USD per user per month. For more information, see À propos de la facturation de GitHub Copilot dans votre organisation.
GitHub Copilot as an individual
GitHub Copilot Pro and GitHub Copilot Pro+ plans are available on a monthly or yearly cycle:
- Copilot Pro: 10 USD per calendar month or 100 USD per year.
- Copilot Pro+: 39 USD per calendar month or 390 USD per year.
If you want to try Copilot before subscribing, you can use GitHub Copilot Gratuit for a limited experience. See À propos des plans et avantages individuels de Copilot.
Managing requests in Copilot
Some Copilot features use premium requests, which count toward your monthly usage allowance. To learn how premium requests work, which features use them, and how to manage your usage, see Understanding and managing requests in Copilot.
Migrating between Copilot plans
When transitioning between different Copilot plans, you may encounter situations that require support.
Trial expiration notices
If you see a trial expiration notice but have an active paid subscription, this is a display issue and does not affect your access. If this persists, contact Support GitHub.
Migrations requiring support assistance
Some migrations cannot be completed through self-service options.
-
Non-enterprise to enterprise environment migrations: When moving from standalone Copilot plans to a GitHub Enterprise environment, contact Support GitHub or your account manager for assistance to avoid service interruption.
-
Changing between Copilot Business and Copilot Enterprise: If you need to migrate between these plans within your enterprise and the option isn't available in your "Billing & Licensing" settings, contact Support GitHub or your account manager for assistance.
Allowance usage for Agent de codage Copilot
Within your monthly usage allowance for GitHub Actions and GitHub Copilot premium requests, you can ask Copilot to work on coding tasks without incurring any additional costs.
When Copilot works on coding tasks, Agent de codage Copilot uses:
-
GitHub Actions minutes from your account's monthly allowance of free minutes for GitHub-hosted runners.
This allowance of free minutes is shared with all GitHub Actions workflows in your account.
For details of the free minutes allowance for your GitHub plan, see About billing for GitHub Actions.
-
Premium requests from your account's monthly allowance of premium Copilot requests.
This allowance of free premium requests is shared with other Copilot features, such as Copilot Chat.
When you use Agent de codage Copilot, Copilot may make multiple premium requests to complete a single task. This includes both user-initiated prompts and follow-up actions Copilot takes on your behalf. The total premium requests used will depend on the complexity of the task and the number of steps involved. See Understanding and managing requests in Copilot.
For more information about Agent de codage Copilot, see À propos de l’attribution de tâches à Copilot.
What happens if you have used up your monthly quota?
If you run out of free Actions minutes or free premium requests, and you have set up a payment method for billing, you will be charged at the normal rates for additional minutes and premium requests. See About billing for GitHub Actions and Understanding and managing requests in Copilot.
If you run out of free minutes or premium requests, and you have not set up billing, a message is displayed explaining why Copilot cannot work on the task.
Monitoring your use of Actions minutes and premium requests
You can track your monthly usage of GitHub Actions minutes and premium requests, to help you get the most value from your Copilot plan. See Viewing your usage of metered products and Monitoring your Copilot usage and entitlements.
