Overview
Experience less rate limiting and reduce the mental load of choosing a model by letting Copilot auto model selection automatically choose the best available model.
Copilot auto model selection is available in VS Code. Models are selected based on availability and to reduce rate limiting. Included models may change over time.
Automatically selected models won't include these models:
- Models with premium request multipliers greater than one. See Copilot 中支持的 AI 模型.
- Models excluded by individual or administrator policies. See 在 Copilot 中配置对 AI 模型的访问权限.
- Models not available in your plan. See Copilot 中支持的 AI 模型.

AI models for Copilot 对话助手
While auto model selection is an option for Copilot 对话助手, you can manually choose a different model to override this selection. 你可以更改 Copilot 用来生成聊天提示响应的大型语言模型，包括具有高级功能的高级模型。 你可能会发现性能更好的不同模型，或提供更有用响应的模型，具体取决于你提出的问题类型。 有关详细信息，请参阅“正在更改 Copilot Chat 的 AI 模型”。
Multiplier discounts
